Proverbs 27:17 “Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.”
Ecclesiastes 4:12 “And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.”
1 Timothy 2:8 “I desire then that in every place the men should pray, lifting holy hands without anger or quarreling;”
The men’s ministry of Compass Christian Fellowship is devoted to making much of Jesus Christ in all we do; we fervently believe in the power of prayer as a body of believers; we believe in and value the fellowship that Jesus Christ creates for men to experience as we fight the good fight of faith together; we meet regularly to experience God’s Word and the power of Christ at work within us; and we encourage one another as long as it is called today (Hebrews 3:13), aware of the fact that “though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” (2 Corinthians 10:3-5)
